Mahindra’s Dharti Mitra Super Seeder is designed as an all-in-one implement for combined soil preparation, fertilizer application, and seed sowing with a press wheel. Its advanced design enables direct seeding into fields without getting jammed by paddy/rice straw. This not only saves time and cost, but also supports sustainable farming practices
Available in two working widths—7 ft (2.1 m) and 8 ft (2.4 m)—each model comes equipped with a full set of features:
- The 7 ft model offers a working width of 2.1 m, includes 54 blades and 12 disc tyne assemblies, and weighs approximately 1,100 kg.
- The 8 ft version increases the working width to 2.49 m, sports 60 blades with 13 disc tyne assemblies, and weighs about 1,190 kg.
These units use a multispeed gearbox (13×23 gear train) paired with a JLF primary traction for precise field control. They require tractors in the 37–41 kW (50–55 HP) range for the 7 ft model and 41–45 kW (55–60 HP) for the 8 ft version.
